Hi there!

My name is Shasta.

I'm a designer living and working in the  Lək̓ʷəŋən speaking territory also know as Victoria, BC.

My fashion journey started with my education at the Blanche MacDonald Centre in Vancouver, BC.

Through their intensive Diploma program, I was able to get my hands dirty in every aspect of the fashion world, from Illustration, to Pattern Drafting, to Business.

I very quickly fell in love with all aspects of the craft, I knew that I would one day love to own a solo business where I could really be my jack-of-all-trades self.

After several years working in retail fabric and clothing sales, I was asked to host my first Mending Night at the Ecologyst Victoria Store. I quickly fell in love with the community, and the practise of mending.

Since then, my focus has shifted to education and textile reuse. I currently teach workshops in sewing and mending,  upcycle pieces destined for landfill, and offer repair and alteration services to help keep treasured garments in people's wardrobes longer!
